The role
Job Title: Internal Account Manager, IML East Coast
Hours: Full Time 9:00am – 5:30pm
Reports to: Melanie Burns, Director of Business Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal with day-to-day management of clients
- Prepare client proposals
- Follow up proposals and close sales
- Develop client relationships with existing and new accounts to meet revenue targets
- Manage business development plan; eg identify and target new clients and markets
- Maintain the client database for sales and marketing purposes
- Manage the Director’s calendar, including booking meetings and travel
- Collate weekly reports for sales meetings
- Coordinate the logistics and resources for events including organizing national and international travel and freighting of equipment as and when required
- Assist in arranging client workshops and other sales activities
- Help prepare client marketing communications
- Attend occasional business generation events and exhibitions
- Build up detailed knowledge about the company's products and services

- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work at speed with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Self motivated, driven, ambitious with a can-do attitude
- A team player who is able to work with minimal supervision
- Good numeracy skills
- Proven high level communication, customer service and administrative skills, both written & oral (admin skills to include use of Word, Excel, MS Outlook and customer contact databases).
- Exceptional focus, energy and drive with a strong work ethic
- Positive and flexible approach
- Sales focused
- Sales qualifications or experience of working in a sales environment preferred
- Willingness to travel as required
- Experience of working in the events industry or with non-profit organizations preferred
