What is enotes?
enotes is an interactive, laptop audience response and participation based messaging and voting system, designed to gather instant and anonymous feedback from collaborative meetings and group discussions.
An innovative approach to simultaneous group participation, enotes facilitates real-time, interactive communication between individuals and groups, whilst generating invaluable qualitative and quantitative feedback data from your team conferences and events.
enotes operates by combining two functions:
- Function 1 is an instant messaging tool, enabling attendees to submit feedback in their own words.
- Function 2 operates as an interactive voting system, used to generate a rapid response from attendees.
How does enotes laptop audience response messaging work?
Groups of attendees respond in real-time to questions and subject matter by sending multiple electronic messages direct from their laptops.
Participants simply type their thoughts, comments and questions into a message box displayed on the laptop screen and click on the 'send' button to submit their response.
Responses are sent via wirelessly networked laptops to a central server where they are quickly collated, filtered and edited. This entire process happens in real-time, taking just seconds.
After quickly reviewing the laptop audience response, the presenter is then able to identify and prioritize the most common or thought-provoking messages, before displaying them live to the audience for further review and discussion.
How does voting work?
The immediacy of enotes facilitates ad-hoc voting, enabling the audience to vote on issues just seconds after they have been raised via the messaging function.
A question offering a number of options can be sent to every enotes laptop at any time during your event.
After studying the question, each group selects an option by clicking either the relevant button on the virtual keypad or the actual question options.
Attendees' responses are automatically collated and the results can be displayed live to your audience within seconds of a vote closing, enabling them to see trends emerge as voting takes place.
Main display screen
The results of a vote can be displayed in a variety of different formats, including bar charts, pie charts and histograms.
All display screens can be customized to reflect your corporate image or the theme of your event.
