What is Microphone Queuing software?

This unique software identifies members of the audience wanting to speak and automatically places them in a queue. You decide who speaks and whether they are identified.

The system enables the presenter to easily control Q&A sessions, providing a fast and fair queuing system that ensures everyone gets to have their say.

How does it work?

Prior to the start of conference, each delegate is issued with a personal Smartcard that stores their name and other details such as their company name and job title.

Delegates wanting to speak simply insert their Smartcard and press the blue button on the Communicator to join the microphone queue.

The presenter is then able to identify those who have joined the queue and quickly select who will speak and for how long.

Delegates can remove themselves from the queue at any time, simply by pressing the blue button again.

When a delegate has been called by the presenter to speak, their name, alongside live video footage of them speaking can be displayed to the audience.

It is also possible for delegates to remain anonymous when accessing the queue. In this situation, the Communicator will display a number, indicating to delegates where they are in the queue.

Greater control over live Q&A

The presenter is able to control who speaks and how long they speak for. Delegates who have already spoken can be blocked from speaking again and microphones can be de-activated at any time. This will ensure that more people get the opportunity to have their say.

Balanced debate

Notes about each delegate can be stored on their personal Smartcard and will appear alongside their name when they access the microphone queue. This will enable the presenter to facilitate a more balanced debate by choosing speakers with a range of diverse views.

Time management

The software times each speaker, enabling the presenter to set a limit on how long each person speaks for.

Ease of use

Use Microphone Queuing software in conjunction with the built-in microphone on the Communicator and eliminate the need for roving microphones at your event.

Alternatively, the software can be used with any microphone system.

Fast

Microphone queuing software speeds-up the entire Q&A process, giving more audience members the opportunity to speak.

Microphone Queuing offers every delegate an equal opportunity to speak at conference.

Democratic

The queue operates on a first come, first served basis. The faster a delegate accesses the queue, the higher their place in it will be.

A record of every speaker is available at the end of conference.
